I have invited staff to a job but they cannot see the jobs or shifts in their staffarea

If you have invited staff to jobs and shifts but the staff cannot see those jobs and shifts either in their Job Market or Invited jobs pages of their staffarea it could be due to one of the following reasons:

1. The shifts are in the past

It could be that you have accidentally invited staff to shifts in the past and staff will not receive invites to shifts that are in the past.

You have two methods of inviting staff:

  • If you are Inviting to a job or jobs as a whole you will be able to invite to any job with vacant shifts in the past and future but the staff will only receive invites for upcoming vacant shifts on that job
  • If you are Inviting staff to shifts on one job you won't be able to select individual shifts that are in the past

2. Job Market search radius

Within the Job Market staff have a set of filters at the top of the page. One of these filters when applied will only show shifts within a certain radius:

 

The default value for this filter can be changed in Settings > Staff Options > Default Job Market search radius

3. The staff status is restricting access to the Job Market

With Settings > Staff options > Staff statuses a status can have a restiction added to not allow access to the Job Market. This restriction would need to be removed in order for staff to see the jobs and shifts they are invited to
