What are staff tags for?

You can use staff tags to organise and categorise your staff however you see fit.

You can then use the staff tags (one tag or multiple tags combined) to potentially:

  • Search for staff
  • Communicate with staff
  • Shortlist and invite staff to job

 

Assigning staff tags via a staff profile

  • Go to a Staff profile
  • Go to Main details > Contact tab
  • There is a field in the left column labelled Tags:
  • To add a tag simply start typing and the tags that match what you are typing will appear. If the tag you require doesn't appear then simply type it in full and press enter and your tag will be created and added.

Adding staff tags in batches

  • Go to the Staff search page
  • On the Staff search page you can select multiple staff using the checkboxes:
  • Now go to With selected > Add tag:
  • The following dialogue will appear
    • To add an existing tag
      • Starting to type and you will see a list of already added tags to select from.
    • Create a new tag
      • Type your new tag and press enter to add to the system
    • You can add multiple tags and once, both existing and new
  • Then press OK to add those tags to those selected profiles

Managing staff tags

  • Go to Staff > Manage tags
  • To add new tag
    • Click on the Add new button
    • Add your tag name and add your staff to the list using the staff autocompleter
    • Press submit
  • To manage an existing tag
    • Click on Edit on the tag you wish to update
    • Then you can adjust the tag name and staff within this tag
  • To delete a tag
    • Click on Delete on the tag you wish to remove
    • You will be asked to confirm your removal
    • If staff are still assigned to this tag you will be asked once again if you are sure
    • Press OK

Searching using staff tags

  • Go to Staff search
  • Go to the Main details search block
  • On the right you can search by Tags
